Meet The Team

Chris De Lury
Hi I'm Chris and I followed my passion from a young age and became a qualified carpenter in 2000 and have well over 20 years of experience in the Building industry. I have also worked as a project manager for bigger residential building companies, this really gave me a balanced perspective of how the whole building process works and how client satisfaction is top priority.
I set up Chris De Lury Builders with the intention to build quality; when you do it right the first time you save time and money in the long run. I really enjoy working with my team and can honestly everyone gives their 100%.
I look forward to meeting with you onsite or off to discuss any future projects you have in mind. In my spare time I love Mountain biking, Four wheel driving and going for treks up Mt Thomas and Grey with the family.

Liam Dickson
Hi I'm Liam and I have my NZ Certificate in construction and trade skills and am currently completing my apprenticeship.
My favourite part of building is working in the countryside, installing windows and purlins and standing trusses.
You can expect to meet me on the building site doing the day to day jobs and tasks. Outside of work I enjoy taking the jet ski or boat out, fishing and motorbike riding.

Alana Sullivan
Hi i'm Alana, I have a degree in Psychology and worked for Westpac bank for 9 years. I began the exciting journey of helping to form Chris De Lury Builders in 2016.
I love to see an idea physically come to life and being apart of the excitement a handover of a new home can bring.
You can expect to meet me either in the office or over the phone as I help handle any queries you have and make the process as smooth as possible.
Outside of work I loves outdoor treks with the family, surfing and upcycling furniture.

Joel Mallia
Hi I'm Joel and I'm a qualified Carpenter and have a diploma in outdoor leadership and environmental sustainability and have worked in the NZ, Australian and Canadian building industry. My favourite part of building is the wide variety of skilled work and that no day is the same, with something always to learn.
You can expect to meet me on site where I will give 100% and help solve any unforeseen problems.
Outside of work I likes to spend time with my children, surf, hike and explore the outdoors.

Liam Hewitt
Hi I'm Liam, my interests and hobbies are cars and building. I worked as a car detailer for two years and then decided to follow my passion and start a building apprenticeship. I'm currently ten months through my apprenticeship and loving it, I enjoy fitting hardware and seeing the end product that we built. I love learning new skills and using them outside of work. In my spare time I enjoy working on my cars and being in the outdoors.
